A Beautiful Day in the Park
Another very successful Parked Car-Free Day event was held Saturday, Sept 21, 2013 from 10am to 2pm at McIntyre Park long 83 Avenue and 104 Street.
The event captivated an audience of approximately 250 people, some of whom took part in the “Play Car-Free” game of transportation mode shift related activities. People hopped, jumped, cycled, got on the bus and much more to learn about the benefits and how to travel more sustainably just 1-Day-a- Week.
