ETS New Year's Service
Special ETS Fireworks Service
Extra late night service from:
- West Edmonton Mall and Jasper Place (along Route 1)
- Northgate (along Route 9)
- Mill Woods (along Route 8)
- Westmount (along Route 5)
- Southgate (along Route 9)
Transit Centres has been added to provide service before and after the fireworks display. Service will begin at approximately 9pm.
Buses providing this extra service will travel to and from Downtown, near Churchill Square.
LRT frequency will be increased before and after the fireworks.
Free New Year's Eve Transit
Start your New Year on a safe note -- take transit to your New Year’s Eve celebrations.
By offering FREE service on New Year’s Eve, ETS and our partners St. Albert and Strathcona County transit systems plus CBC radio 1 and TV are encouraging people not to drink and drive. ETS free service starts at 6pm on December 31, continuing until 3:30am on January 1.

Money collected in ETS fare boxes on New Year’s Eve is given to the Donate-a-Ride campaign.

Note: Edmonton Transit Tickets expiring at the end of 2010 may be exchanged at ETS Customer Information Centre, mezzanine level Churchill LRT Station, between January 4, 2011 and January 28, 2011 (weekdays only).
DATS Service
DATS is extending its hours of service on December 31. The last pick up of the day will be at 2am. DATS free service runs from 6pm - 2:30am.
