Blue Line Tour

Tuesday July 24 and Tuesday July 31 at 6:30pm.
Commentary by Doug Cowan.

This tour follows as closely as possible Edmonton's first Streetcar line, the Blue Line.  It will take you along historic Church Street, Little Italy, Norwood and Downtown.

Glenora Tour

Thursday July 26 and Thursday August 2 at 6:30pm.
Commentary by Doug Cowan

Experience Downtown and Glenora in this trek through the early west end of the city.  Clinker brick houses, original apartment buildings, coal mines and the Royal Alberta Museum are all part of this tour.  A true sense of how our city grew up.

Edmonton/Strathcona Amalgamation Tour

Saturday July 28 and Saturday August 4 at 1pm.
Commentary by Ernie Bastide

100 years ago if you crossed the North Saskatchewan River southbound you were in a new city.  In 1912 Edmonton and Strathcona joined forces and defined the future of River City.  Take a trip into the past and learn about the challenges, benefits and side deals that allowed amalgamation to happen.

Highlands Tour

Saturday July 28 and Saturday August 4 at 1:30pm.
Commentary by Doug Cowan

The first area in Edmonton to have developer funded transit service, Highlands is well known for character homes, outstanding river valley vistas and stately manor homes.  Join us for the Highlands 100th birthday and see why after a century it is still one of Edmonton's most popular neighbourhoods.
