MacEwan LRT Station

Location
MacEwan LRT Station will be located at 105 Avenue and 104 Street.
Construction Details
Built as the centrepiece of a large landscaped public gathering area, this two-storey station features:
- Overhead pedestrian walkway connecting to north and south pathways
- Fully accessible five-car platform
- Two heated waiting areas
- Landscaped plaza spaces suitable for hosting seasonal events
- A multi-use trail extending north along 104 St and east and west along 105 Ave
Ridership
MacEwan Station will serve various downtown developments.
Ridership will include:
- Grant MacEwan students and staff
- Downtown commuters
- Residents of surrounding neighbourhoods
- Downtown North Edge and 107 Avenue businesses
Kingsway/Royal Alex Station

Location
The north side of Kingsway at 105 Street next to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Kingsway Station will be built with access to health care services as a priority.
Construction Details
- Convenient surface access at both ends of the platform
- Two heated waiting areas
- Clear sightlines and simple platform layout to enhance accessibility, comfort, and safety
- Kingsway Transit Centre will be relocated to the former Royal Alex parking lot west of the hospital, to integrate bus and LRT service
Ridership
Kingsway Station will serve:
- Residents of surrounding neighbourhoods
- Hospital patients, staff and visitors
- Patrons and merchants of Kingsway Garden Mall
- Businesses along Kingsway Avenue
- Victoria School students and staff
- Centre for Education staff
NAIT LRT Station

Location
The station will be built at the southwest corner of NAIT campus, just east of the City Centre Airport.
Construction Details
- Will be a temporary transit-centre style shelter built of modular systems that can be removed and reused for future LRT expansion.
- A permanent station location will be determined once a complete land-use plan is in place for the City Centre Airport lands, which City Council decided to partially close in 2009.
- In July 2010, City Council approved the route for the Northwest LRT (NWLRT) extension beyond NAIT, which will be built through the City Centre Airport lands to Edmonton city limits near St. Albert.
Ridership
The NAIT station will serve:
- NAIT students and staff
- Residents of surrounding neighbourhoods
- Patrons and staff at Kingsway Garden Mall
