Student Fares for 2010/2011

Youth Monthly Pass

The ETS Youth Monthly Pass is valid for travel every day of the week for customers up to 17 years of age.  Regularly-priced Youth Monthly Passes are available online or from the ETS Customer Service in Churchill LRT Station and at Community Leisure Centres. (During July and August when school is not in session, Youth Monthly Passes are available ONLY at these two locations).

School Passes (Edmonton Public and Catholic Schools students)

Elementary, junior and senior high students attending Edmonton Public or Catholic schools can buy a discounted Youth Monthly Pass from their school. Passes are sold to both school boards by ETS at the regular price, and are then sold to students at a discounted rate. EPSB and ECS students may ride ETS using their Youth Pass up to 19 years of age, provided they can produce a current student ID issued by their school upon request.

The discounted Youth Monthly Pass can be obtained only through the schools where the students attend. Rates charged to students are set by each School Board. Please see the Edmonton Public Schools or Edmonton Catholic Schools website for details.

Use of Yellow School Bus Pass on ETS

Edmonton Transit also permits limited use of the Yellow School Bus Pass on our system. Each Yellow Bus Pass holder is allowed six (6) trips per month on regular transit service for travel prior to 8pm. The Yellow Bus Pass must be punched by an Operator at the location marked on the pass, which is considered payment of one student fare. The student should receive a valid transfer for 90 minutes of travel; this is permitted for the pass holder only.
