Post Secondary Discount
ETS offers a post secondary discount of approximately 10% ($74.25 versus $81.50, $76.95 versus $84.65 effective February 1, 2011) to students of the following:

Publicly-Funded Post secondary Institutions:
Students enrolled full-time on an Edmonton campus in a program of study leading to a diploma, certificate or degree. -
Private Post secondary Institutions:
Students enrolled full-time on an Edmonton campus in a “Licensed Vocational Program”, which has been approved under the Alberta Private Vocational Training Act and/or the Private Vocational Training Regulation, or in a degree-granting program of Divinity.
In order for students to receive this discount their school must be registered with Edmonton Transit. Schools may contact ETS Customer Services using the link below for further information.
Students at an approved institution registered with ETS must be able to produce valid photo ID issued by their school, along with proof of current full-time enrolment. Students at registered institutions NOT having an ETS pass outlet on-campus can purchase discounted passes only at ETS Customer Services in the Churchill LRT station; current student photo ID and full-time enrolment confirmation must be provided. (Note: Students having an ETS pass outlet at their school must purchase their pass at their campus location.).
Go to Post Secondary Institutes Approved for Student Discount to see if your institution is currently eligible for the discount. Students attending eligible institutions that do not have a pass outlet on campus must purchase passes from the ETS Customer Services office in the Churchill LRT Station.
U-Pass
U-Pass is a transit fare program that gives eligible students at participating post-secondary institutions, unlimited access to regular Edmonton, St. Albert Transit (StAT) and Strathcona County Transit services* for fall (September – December) and winter (January – April) academic terms. The U-Pass is not valid during the summer. More U-Pass information.
*U-Pass does not include charter, special event or contracted services provided by ETS, St. Albert Transit or Strathcona County Transit to outlying communities, or specialized handibus transit services offered by StAT and Strathcona County Transit. ETS DATS will accept U-Pass.
