- To cancel a trip or to check on a late ride, press 1

Booking DATS:
DATS takes reservation bookings two or three days in advance of travel or the day before until 12:00 noon. When you book a trip, you will be asked:
- Your DATS registration number and the day and time you wish to travel.
- The exact address for your pick up and drop off.
- If you will be accompanied by an attendant or escort.
- If you use a wheelchair or another type of mobility aid.
- If you wish to book a return trip.
The Customer Care Centre Agent will confirm the trip by repeating it back to you. Be sure all the information is correct.

Booking Types
Reservation Trip
Reservation trips are booked one to three days in advance. Registrants must call to book a trip for the following day prior to 12:00 noon.Same Day Trip
DATS encourages customers to book trips at least one to three days in advance or create a subscription booking. However, since clients sometimes have unforeseeable circumstances arise, DATS will try to accommodate as many same day requests as possible. There is no guarantee that a same day trip request can be accommodated.
Subscription Trip
Subscription trips are repeated on specific days and has fixed origins, destinations, and times. Subscription trips must be booked one to ten days in advance.
Group Trip
A group trip is defined as five or more people traveling together from the same origin to the same destination at the same time. All group trips are handled in the order that they were received and clients will receive a confirmation call as soon as possible to confirm the trip.
Reservation Group Trips:
- By phone 2-3 days in advance
- By fax anytime of the day.
- All requests must be received by 5:00 pm 2 days in advance
Same Day Group Trips:
- Same day group requests will be treated as individually booked and scheduled trips.
- DATS does not guarantee that these trips will all be scheduled together on the same vehicle.
Subscription Group Trips
- Requests must be received a minimum of 2 days prior to the start of the subscription.
Cancelling a DATS Trip:
Same day cancellations must be received by DATS at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time. Failure to cancel will result in a "no-cancel" which will be applied to the client's record. Persons who have frequent no-cancels may be subject to a temporary suspension from DATS service.
