Truck Routes

Proposed 75 Street Truck Route

City Council passed a motion to initiate a truck route designation on 75 Street between 90 Avenue and 98 Avenue. As part of this motion, the City is seeking feedback from affected residents and community stakeholders on possible impacts and mitigation strategies if this change was to take place.

Trucks & Dangerous Goods

Heavy vehicles (over 8000 kg GVW/12.5 m long) and vehicles carrying dangerous goods must adhere to the Truck Route Network. If the destination cannot be reached directly from a Truck Route, take the most direct and practical road off the nearest Truck Route.

Road Bans

Road bans apply to vehicles where the weight of the carrying axle or axle group exceeds the percentage axle weight imposed by the road ban.
