Community Walking Map Series
Walk Edmonton, Community Leagues and groups, and interested citizens have partnered to develop community-focused walking maps. The Community Walking Map Series highlights what residents want share about their communities and suggestions on favourite routes, destinations and how to navigate the neighbourhood on foot.
More maps are under development each year. Join us at an upcoming workshop to provide input. Check out our Where to Walk page for more walking maps and resources.

Prior to the Workshop.....Take a Walk
Prior to the session, walk your neighbourhood with a purpose. Look for points of interest, hot spots, local destinations, and favourite walking routes.

The Workshop....
Join us for this workshop and share your neighbourhood knowledge! We want to know about your favourite destinations, walking routes and the little known treasures in your neighbourhood - All are welcome! The map is for the young, the old, the very active, and the less active.
We’ll supply the large paper maps, stickies and lots of markers, and we want your help to create a map that is unique to your neighbourhood!
Walking Map Updates and Reprints
Walking maps are re-printed every 2-3 years. Before reprinting each map, we will update it with new information and fix any errors or outdated information. If you notice an error, or have a suggestions for an update on an existing map, please drop us a line: walkedmonton@edmonton.ca.
