Public Involvement History
Public involvement is an important part of the design of on-street bike infrastructure. Here we provide a history of previous meetings that took place to help share plans and get input for the planned bike routes.
2013 On-Street Bike Routes Public Involvement
In 2013 11 routes were completed.
Pre-Construction Meeting
April 17, 2013
The City held a meeting to share information on the final design of the 2013 on-street bike routes, overview the construction process, report back on was heard through the public involvement process, and overview the changes that were incorporated in the designs as a result of the input. Background information on cycling and policy direction was also presented.
City Council Meeting Presentation
March 13, 2013
Information was presented to Council about progress implementing the Bicycle Transportation Plan. This included information on the program cost, alignment with mandate from City Council, public involvement activities, and design information.

2012 On-Street Bike Routes Public Involvement
The City added 15 km of on-street bike routes. A public involvement process was held to share information about the project, get feedback on proposed designs, and provide information prior to construction.
