Backfill at Back of Concrete Walks or Paved Lanes

To reduce water infiltration into the granular base of concrete walks and paved lanes, non-granular backfill must be placed to the top (surface) of the concrete or asphalt. This will enhance the long term performance of the walk or lane by minimizing water infiltration through the granular base.
