Waste Management Fees
Starting January 1, 2016, monthly rates for single-family households will be $43. The monthly rate for multi-family units will be $27.95.
Waste services provided by the City include:
- Garbage collection at all residences in the city
- Blue bag recycling for single-family homes
- Blue bin recycling for apartments and condominiums
- 21 Community recycling depots
- A Reuse Centre
- Four Eco stations for convenient drop-off of household hazardous waste and other waste
- 12 Big Bin events to drop off large items at no charge
- Assisted Waste Collection for residents with mobility challenges
- An environmentally responsible waste processing and disposal system
