Edmonton Salutes
Edmonton Salutes promotes and recognizes our local military's community contributions, both at home and abroad, toward world peace, security and stability.
The City of Edmonton has always valued its military community. Since the formation of the Edmonton Garrison base in 1995, the military population has increased substantially. City Council, the military, and the community-at-large committed to additional effort towards a strong and mutually beneficial relationship. To this end, the Edmonton Salutes Committee was established to recognize the contributions of the military and their families to our city and demonstrate that we support and value our military community.
