Help With Identification
Pest Management offers an insect identification service either by mail or in-person.
By Email
You can send an email with images attached to treebugs@edmonton.ca, and one of our staff will respond.
By Mail
You can also send specimens by mail. To prevent damage, specimens mailed to us should be wrapped in a protective material (e.g., tissue paper) and sealed in a rigid container (e.g., clean plastic pill bottle) before being placed in the envelope. Include a brief explanatory note with your name and contact information.
In Person
You can bring specimens directly to the pest management office between 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday.
