Northern Lights Cemetery
Northern Lights is surrounded by oak tress and features a Chinese pavilion and a Wall of Remembrance in memory of our military veterans.
History
This north Edmonton cemetery was unofficially known as Sturgeon Cemetery before being named Sturgeon Heights Memorial Park in 1986. A year later it was renamed Northern Lights Cemetery. The City of Edmonton purchased the land in 1972.
