Little Mountain Cemetery
Little Mountain is a quaint cemetery that is said to be like walking into an old county churchyard. There is a mixture of old fashioned simplicity with a touch of mystique that creates an atmosphere of reverence.
History
Many of the pioneers who settled to the northeast of Edmonton have made Little Mountain their final resting place. In 1895 this site, on the highest point in the area, was chosen for a cemetery to serve the north-east district of what is now, Edmonton. The City assumed responsibility for the cemetery in 1985.
