Root for Trees - Matching Grant
About the Program
The Root for Trees Matching Fund supports communities across the city who are seeking to plant trees in their neighbourhood. Trees and shrubs are available on a value matching basis to address a specific community need that benefits the community. Projects must be completed within a 12 month time frame.
The Program in 2016
After the first few years of offering the Root for Trees Matching Grant, the City is taking time to review this application process in order to make it more efficient for community groups to apply. The grant is currently closed and applications will not be received until further notice.
