Information on low floor service, community buses designated for seniors, accessible LRT.
Seniors Fares and Annual Transit Passes
Seniors 65 years of age and older qualify for a reduced rate for day fares and bus passes.
Bus Hailer Kit for the Visually Impaired
Mobility Card for instructing a bus to kneel or lower the ramp when boarding.
Customer Communication Cards for people who have difficulty verbally expressing their transit trip needs.
Stop Request to exit a bus at a safe location other than a bus stop.
Mobility Choices Travel Training
The Mobility Choices Travel Training Program is for persons with reduced mobility. Training will focus on how to use public transportation services including LRT, low floor buses, and community buses.
Seniors on the Go Travel Training
Seniors on the Go Travel Training Program helps seniors feel confidant using Edmonton's transit system. Seniors on the Go is a seasonal program, running June to August every year.

Disabled Adult Transit Service (DATS)
DATS is a door-to-door, shared–ride public transportation service for adults age 16 and older who cannot use regular transit due to a disability.
Volunteer Drivers
LIFT Drive Happiness is a collaborative partnership of non-profit organizations in Edmonton and area that connect seniors with volunteer drivers. This service helps seniors with reduced mobility who need affordable accompanied transportation for essential errands.
Consider volunteering as a driver. Providing a senior with the means to manage their mobility and life makes for a happy passenger. You're literally driving happiness. And that's something to smile about.
