Schoolyard Clean Up
Every spring after the snow melts, school grounds in Edmonton need a little extra attention to make sure they’re clean and safe. From April to June each year, Capital City Clean Up offers elementary, junior and senior high students an exciting program that lets them show school pride and share the responsibility of a cleaner community.
Last year, 131 Edmonton schools registered with Capital City Clean Up’s Schoolyard Clean Up program to help put litter in its place.
To see a list of all the 2015 participants, see the Schoolyard Clean Up Recognition Ad.
Registration for the School yard Clean Up is now closed, please check back in September for more information on a fall program.
Once your registration has been confirmed, your school will receive bags and gloves to assist with your clean up efforts. When stats are submitted, all the students who participated will be rewarded with something awesome for their efforts at the beginning of June.
