Speaker Series: Hello, How Are You?
When people know their neighbours and when their neighbours know them, they are less likely to experience stress, depression, loneliness. Knowing our neighbours is an important part of our ability to respond to stressful experiences. It also helps to build strong communities, families and individuals.
The Urban Isolation/Mental Health Initiative wants to help build strong people, families and communities. And it wants to start talking about mental health and wellness.
