McDavid Cup Street Hockey Tournament

Location: Centennial Plaza

Sign up for your chance to win glory, fame, and admiration by playing in the 2nd annual McDavid Cup! This 4v4 Street Hockey Tournament goes down in the heart of the city at the Centennial Plaza downtown. Come on down to play some hockey, compete to win great prizes, or come as a fan and take part in our side activities.

If ball is life, this is the tournament for you. Sign up and play 3v3 basketball in Churchill Square, or just come to hang out, enjoy our side activities, and cheer the teams on. All skill levels are welcome.

Lord of the Parks

Date: Thursday, August 18
Time: 2–6pm
Location: Boyle Street Community League

Come down to the Boyle Street Community League to partake in our annual skate competition
and showcase. Make a skate video with your friends and submit it to youth@edmonton.ca before the event to have it screened at the showcase for a chance to win prizes, or join in the live competition to win the title “Lord of the Parks”. There will be plenty of things to see, do, and win, even if you’re not a skater!

The YEGyouth team is also excited to welcome the incredible stunt team, Craz E Crew! Featured on Canada’s Got Talent, Craz E Crew is one of the world’s largest extreme sports shows, featuring stunts with BMX bikes, skateboarding, and inline skating. Be sure to stop by and check out their incredible show!
