Youth Drop In
Rising Youth drop in sites are lead by program leaders organizing various activities with participants while promoting healthy lifestyles and life choices. Our city wide locations can be found on the program calendar.

Weekend Outings
Explore new activities during free monthly outings, such as: hiking, bowling, paintball, rock climbing, biking, swimming, skating
Active 8 Leadership Program
Become a leader in your community. Learn and have fun with peers and mentors and improve your communication, employment, leadership and teamwork skills.
Rising Youth Annual Basketball Tournament
Held at Central Lions Senior Centre at the end of the year. Youth from all our sites put teams together and compete in a 3 day tournament to win prizes and show their basketball talents to other Edmonton youth.
Skiing / Snowboarding at Snow Valley
Includes free ski lessons and snowboarding lessons for beginners from staff at Snow Valley. All participants get free transportation (2 pick-up locations to choose from).
Youth Poetry Slam
This event is hosted by The Breath in Poetry Collective held at the Citadel Theatre and Concordia University. This is a stage for young poets, writers, spoken word artists or anyone who wants a stage to rhyme.
Youth Volunteer Projects
Rising Youth provides meaningful team-based volunteer opportunities to youth between the ages of 12 and 18. Projects can range from volunteering in community events, festivals, neighbourhood beautification projects, etc. Projects are chosen by a Youth Steering Committee.
