2016 Downtown Construction Overview

Construction project schedules frequently change so timing is approximate. This list does not include impacts from private developments.

Check the Current Traffic Disruptions Map for up-to-date information on road, sidewalk and bike lane closures.

Currently scheduled:

• 104 Ave, 101-103 St: lane reductions and off-peak nighttime closures for Rogers Place work (now through fall 2016)
• 103 Ave, 102-103 St: lane reductions for Ice District work (ongoing throughout 2016)
• 96 St, Jasper Ave to 103A Ave: Totally closed to north/south traffic. East/west traffic allowed through 102 Ave and 102A Ave (now through summer 2016)
• 101 St, 101A-102 Ave: lane reductions for Kelly Ramsey work (now through summer/fall 2016)
• 105 St, 104-105 Ave: northbound lane closed for City drainage upgrades (now through 2016)
• Hotel MacDonald stairs: closed during construction of River Valley Mechanized Access (now through fall 2017)

Coming roadway changes:

• 102 Ave, 96 – 103 St: upcoming Valley Line LRT construction (schedule/impacts TBD)
• Jasper Avenue, 95 St: upcoming Valley Line LRT construction (scheduling/impacts TBD)
• Louise McKinney - upcoming Valley Line LRT construction (scheduling/impacts TBD)
• 105 St/102 Ave: upcoming Alex Decoteau Park construction (scheduling/impacts TBD)
