Reuse Centre
The Reuse Centre accepts various items from Edmonton residents free of charge and makes them available to organizations and individuals for reuse. The Reuse Centre is unique as it deals with items that are not accepted for reuse elsewhere.
The Centre has three main goals:
- To promote the idea and benefits of reuse
- To provide affordable items to organizations and individuals
- To divert waste from landfill
The Reuse Centre accepts a variety of items such as arts and crafts supplies, office and school supplies, paper and plastic products and much more. Please note that all items must be clean and in good condition. Items are only accepted during hours of operation at the West door.
Acceptable Items
The Reuse Centre does not accept furniture, toys, clothing, electronics, appliances or construction materials. Many charities accept these items; please take them to the charity directly. Prices
Organizations and individuals can purchase items at the Reuse Centre for a nominal fee and may take as many items as they require.

Reuse Workshops
Learn to reuse everyday items and turn them into creative crafts. A Reuse Crafter can come to your school, organization or community event to host an interactive crafting workshop. Various crafting workshops are available to accommodate age and abilities. Make fun, colourful crafts while learning about the Reuse Centre!
Maximum workshop size is 20 people. Supplies are provided by the Reuse Centre.

* A minimum of two weeks advanced notice for bookings is required.

Volunteers are essential to the work of the Reuse Centre and contribute in a variety of ways. We offer a fun work environment, flexible shifts and a great recognition program!
