Edmonton Waste Management Centre Open House

Gawk at your Garbage

It was once a landfill. Now it's the world renowned Edmonton Waste Management Centre, an impressive collection of some of the best waste management facilities in the world. And here's your chance to see it!

Come to the Open House at the Edmonton Waste Management Centre and get a free guided tour of the 200 hectare site. There will also be displays and kids' activities to showcase the wonderful world of waste.

9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Bus tours start every 15 minutes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and take about 1.5 hours.

Free shuttle bus service to the Edmonton Waste Management Centre is available from Commonwealth Stadium LRT Station parking lot every half hour from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m..
