Operator Alert System

To alert the LRT Operator of an emergency situation onboard, look for one of the following communication devices that are installed on all LRT trains. Activate the emergency device to open a communication channel with the Operator. The Operator will assess the situation and contact ETS security personnel for an appropriate emergency response.

Yellow Touch Strips run along the wall above the window on each side of all LRT cars. Press the strip to activate.

Red Alarm Handles are located in all LRT cars above every alternate door. Pull down on the handle to activate.

Red Emergency Buttons are located on all LRT cars adjacent to the accessible door button. These buttons are accessible to patrons using wheelchairs or other mobility aids and fulfill the same function as the yellow touch strips and red alarm handles. Press to activate.
