NAIT LRT Station
The NAIT station is a temporary transit-centre style shelter built of modular systems that can be removed and reused for future LRT expansion. It is located at the end of the current Metro Line on the southwest corner of NAIT's campus.
The station will ultimately be relocated onto the Blatchford redevelopment, which is just west of the current station location.
NAIT Station will primarily serve:
- NAIT students and staff
- Residents of surrounding neighbourhoods
- Businesses and patrons of Kingsway Mall
The LRT operates at street level on the Metro LRT line. The TraXSafe program offers safety tips and information on what to be aware of when traveling on or near the train tracks.
