ETS Lost and Found
Forgot something on your last trip? Check with ETS Customer Services Centre. We are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm and are closed statutory holidays. Articles turned into Transit Personnel arrive at the Centre the following business day.To inquire about articles lost on Transit, please fill out the online form below. Detailed information can reduce delays in identifying and claiming your item.
Payment Cards
Articles received at lost and found containing payment cards, are secured for 24 hours. If the payment card is not claimed within 24 hours by the owner, the card is securely destroyed to protect personal and financial data. Destroying unclaimed payment cards after 24 hours complies with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards and financial institutions, including the City's bank. These payment cards include Debit, Credit and Pre-Paid Credit Cards.

Lost and Found FAQ
If you can provide the following information, the Lost and Found office will have a better chance of identifying your lost item:
- A detailed description of the item – the more detail you provide, the easier it will be to identify the item. Remember to mention the type of item, colour, brand name/product number, and any other identifying features that make your item distinct.
- Route/direction it was lost on, or bus number (example Route 9 headed towards Northgate, or Bus 1879)
- Date it was lost
- Phone number you can be reached at
The information, collected under Section 33 C of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act, is used to determine the rightful owner of the lost article being claimed and to contact you in the event of a discrepancy. This personal information is protected by the privacy provisions of FOIP.
