LRT Messaging Boards

LRT Messaging Boards are now installed at many LRT stations on the concourse and platform level. These messaging boards contain visual elements to help transit riders, such as identifying the different tracks (track #1 or track #2), showing the end destination (such as Clareview or Century Park) and counting down to the next train arrival (in minutes). In addition, the scrolling texts along the bottom of the signs are regularly updated with ETS-related news, such as elevator and escalator outages, current weather, ETS contact information, and more.

Web Trip Tools Now Use ‘Capital Line’

As part of our recent September service changes, you’ll notice that the current LRT line has been renamed Capital Line (LRT) in preparation for the opening of the Metro Line (North LRT to NAIT) in 2015.

When you use our ETS trip tools for your travel planning, you’ll also see that they reflect this change.
