ETS School Programs
ETS supports all ages of children through various programs such as:
- Unlimited transit use for one day for $9.00 per pass
- Pass is valid for 4 children (ages 12 and under) and 1 adult
- Use anytime of the year
- Available for purchase online or at any ETS Distributor in Edmonton.
Special Needs Program
ETS provides bus passes to special needs students attending either Edmonton Public Schools or Catholic Schools. The bus passes are used for field trips during the school year with the goal that students will feel comfortable to continue to use public transit once they graduate from high school.
City Hall School Program
ETS supports this program by donating one and half day of charter service to transport Grade 1 to 9 students to and from City Hall. During this time students also receive essential transit training.
First Riders
The annual First Riders event provides travel training and passenger safety orientation for students making the transition to bus transportation for the first time. In late August, students have the opportunity to get on a bus and ask ETS and yellow school bus representatives questions and get a feel for the bus experience in a safe setting. This program is open to students in all three local School Boards and registration is coordinated by the respective school boards.
