The Honorable Lois E. Hole, CM, AOE (1929-2005) was a prominent businesswoman, lifelong advocate of education, author and co-founder, with her husband Ted, of Hole’s Greenhouses & Gardens Ltd.
An elected trustee for the Sturgeon School Division, Lois went on to serve as Chancellor of the University of Alberta and, in 2000, was installed as Alberta’s 15th Lieutenant Governor.
Lois was loved for her warmth, humanitarianism and legacy of caring for others.
