Graffiti Wipe Outs
Streets and alleys scarred with graffiti vandalism leave the impression that the area is neglected and unsafe. Keeping our communities graffiti free is a shared responsibility. Help make Edmonton a more beautiful, livable city by organizing a Graffiti Wipe Out.
Gather friends, coworkers, team players, and community members for a day of painting, fun and team-building. The minimum age for participants is 15. Find the area you want to spruce up, pick a date and get the property owners’ permission to wipe out their graffiti.
The Graffiti Management Program (GMP) supplies the paint and painting supplies.
As a non-profit group, you can use a wipe out as a fundraising event, earning $10.75 for every square meter ($1 per sq. ft.) of graffiti you erase.
Groups can also apply for a grant of up to $400 ($5 per person) for drinks, food and snacks for the day.
