Adopt a Block

Edmonton residents, businesses and community groups are encouraged to adopt a block in their community or business area and keep it litter-free during the summer.

As an Adopt-a-Block volunteer, you can adopt the block surrounding your home or business, or any block of space in your community, such as a schoolyard or a neighbourhood park.

You may invite other volunteers, such as your family, friends or members of your community group, to join you on your rounds as team members.

Choose one of the following two ways to register as a new volunteer:

  1. Online registration
  2. Mail or fax registration form

You will be contacted by our volunteer coordinator to confirm your registration and learn how to receive your cleanup kit.

Please note that phone registrations will not be accepted.

Remember, a clean Edmonton is a shared responsibility.
