Wedgewood Heights Surplus School Site
A school site in Wedgewood Heights has been declared surplus by school authorities.
The City-owned site on Wedgewood Boulevard has been approved for seniors’ housing.

An open house to discuss and answer questions about the First Place development was held December 3, 2014.
Feedback was gathered from residents at the meeting, as well as through an online questionnaire. The City compiled feedback into a What We Heard document.
The City also responded to community concerns with a Questions and Answers document.
Update on recent Council report
After years of discussion with the community, City Administration presented a report to Council about the Wedgewood Heights site on December 15, 2015. The report and Council motion can be found in the agenda and meeting minutes.
