Kirkness Surplus School site
Construction on the First Place program housing in Kirkness will begin in 2016.
The surplus school site at 3015-151 Avenue was approved by City Council for First Place housing in 2006.
Construction
Construction and new home sales on the First Place Program building site in Kirkness will begin in June, 2016. Construction will be completed in accordance with the Community Design Engagement process that was completed in 2015.
Users of the sports field on site have been advised of the changes underway and are being accommodated on other sports fields. Questions about sports fields bookings may be directed to sportsfieldbookings@edmonton.ca or 780-442-4548.
