The City has a long-standing involvement in initiatives and strategies that address affordable housing issues.
- City agencies and programs provide non-profit housing as well as referrals to community and government organizations working in the housing area.
- The Real Estate, Housing and Economic Sustainability Branch provides housing policy and planning functions, administers affordable housing grant programs and gives referrals for housing and supports.
- The City's Landlord and Tenant Advisory Board advises and informs on issues arising in the rental sector.
