Discontinuation of Educational Programming
The school board may review the school's long term viability and, based on the results, may consider school closure.
The school board determines whether there are other district uses for the closed school. If there are no other district uses, the school board may make the closed school available for lease.
School boards evaluate their need to retain closed schools on an ongoing basis. If the board determines the school is no longer needed, it is declared surplus.
