City's Right to Acquire a School Site Declared Surplus by a School Board

Following the Minister of Education's confirmation there is no other need for the surplus school site, the Joint Use Agreement establishes the opportunity for the City to acquire the site.

The City follows the Evaluation Process for Surplus School Sites process to assess its need to acquire the surplus school site. If the City decides not to acquire the surplus school site, the school board can offer the property to other potential buyers.

Following the City's decision, the school site is referred to as resolved.
