A joint open house is held to inform residents about the proposed annexation and solicit feedback.
September
Edmonton City Council authorizes Administration to proceed with an annexation application to acquire roughly 40 acres of land from Sturgeon County in the vicinity of 66 Street NW, north of Anthony Henday Drive.
This will enable a small boundary adjustment to relocate the municipal boundary to include an extension of 66 Street NW and its right-of-way within the City of Edmonton.
