The City of Edmonton’s Annexation Negotiating Committee and Leduc County’s Intermunicipal Liaison Committee meet to discuss protocols and the opportunity to engage an objective third party to facilitate future meetings.

Representatives from both the City of Edmonton and Leduc County meet to further the annexation process.

November
The City of Edmonton invites affected citizens to upcoming open houses to learn about Edmonton’s proposed annexations of land in Leduc County and a portion of Highway 814 from the Town of Beaumont.

Edmonton City Council directs Administration to begin a process to extend the City’s southern boundary to facilitate responsible growth in the region.
