Sustainable Development has a web-based application process for all applications. This process is known as the Land Development Application (LDA) process. Please visit the Land Development Application page for more information.
The City issues permits and licences for the development, construction and use of all residential, commercial, industrial and institutional properties and buildings.
If you seek information regarding rezoning and subdivision of land, please visit us on the 6th floor of HSBC Bank Place (10250 - 101 Street NW).
If you want to purchase or view maps and publications available from Sustainable Development, please come to the 6th floor reception or call 780-496-6160. The department library is located on the same floor.
If you want to speak to the city planner responsible for your neighbourhood, check the Geographic Area of Responsibility Map for the name of the senior planner for your area.
If you want to see the development permits for a specific address, you will need to use the Edmonton Map Function and enter in the specific address.
