Construction Updates

Construction on both the north and the south bank is underway.

There will be an increase in the number of construction vehicles including gravel trucks, concrete trucks, drill rigs and support equipment entering and exiting the area. Please be advised that construction vehicles and equipment are accessing the north bank construction area via Country Club Road for the duration of the project.

The majority of construction traffic and work will occur within the time limits of the City noise bylaw. Subject to approval by the City, concrete pouring may occasionally extend beyond the specified time limits.

Trail closures

Safety fencing and trail closures will be required to ensure public safety. Signs in the park will advise of dates and detours for trail closures.

Selective trail closures are currently in place in Terwillegar Park around the bridge site and the material and equipment storage area. Fencing, signs and maps have been placed in the park and can be found on Trail/Park Cautions & Closures.
