The Medium Term Recreation Facility and Sports Field Plan addresses three priority areas through to 2015:

Proposed expansions and new facilities include:

Expand the Central Lions Senior Citizens Recreation Centre
Expand Clareview Arena into a multi-purpose facility
Expand Peter Hemingway Fitness and Leisure Centre
Expand Confederation Leisure Centre with a new fitness area
New Lewis Farms multi-purpose facility
New Meadows multi-purpose facility
New Terwillegar Community Recreation Centre - now open
