BREATHE Twitter Scavenger Hunt
The City of Edmonton is celebrating Edmonton's parks and open spaces by hosting a Twitter Scavenger Hunt. We want you to explore and photograph Edmonton's multi-functional open spaces!
Winners will receive passes to our many City of Edmonton attractions or recreation facilities and a t-shirt. Two winners will be randomly selected each month during the contest period to receive a prize package!
Share Your Image
Questions will be posted weekly on Twitter via @PlanEdmonton. Shoot an original photograph of the park or open space that matches the question, then post it to your personal Twitter account. No work of art, trademark or logo may appear in the photo without the consent of the artist or trademark/logo owner. Photos can include you, activities, sights, anything while you are at the site!
Participants will be entered into a draw and prizes will be awarded on an ongoing basis. Entries are limited to one photo per question per person. Multiple entries for the same question will be considered as one entry.
Note: Please make sure you have everyone’s permission to share their image in the photo if your image has identifiable people in it.
You must follow @PlanEdmonton and include the hashtag #breatheYEG for your images to qualify.
Submission Dates: Photos posted on Twitter from June 6 to midnight, September 16, 2016 will be eligible for entries into the draw.

Twitter Scavenger Hunt Details and Contest Rules
There is no purchase required to enter the contest. The chances of winning are dependent on the number of entries received. Scavenger Hunt is open to @PlanEdmonton Twitter followers, who are Edmonton Capital Region residents and are 18 years of age or older. If a winner is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian may accept the prize on their behalf. Follow @PlanEdmonton on Twitter.
Scavenger hunt begins on June 6, 2016 and ends on September 16, 2016. Interested followers can opt themselves in to enter the contest during this period.
Eight prize packages in total will be awarded. The approximate value of the prize packages range from $32-34, dependent on the City of Edmonton attractions and/or facilities passes included.
Winners will be privately notified through Direct Message on Twitter and provided the location for pick up of the prize package. In order to receive their prize, each contest winner must sign a standard declaration and release form confirming compliance with the contest rules together with a consent for The City of Edmonton to use the winner’s name and likeness online and in print in any other media in connection with the contest and for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
Winners are responsible for picking up the prizes during normal weekday business hours within five (5) working days of contest winner receiving notice. Non-compliance within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable within five (5) working days of notification of selection may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
Entrants agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of the scavenger hunt judge, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this scavenger hunt. By entering, participants release and hold harmless The City of Edmonton, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest or prize won, including any travel related thereto.
The City of Edmonton is not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any contest-related materials, or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete or illegible entries. The City of Edmonton is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or any equipment or programming associated with utilized in the contest, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of submissions to the contest.
If, for any reason, the contest is not capable of completion as planned, including but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the City of Edmonton that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest, the City of Edmonton reserves the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest.
