Public Involvement
Engaging Edmontonians in a meaningful and informed conversation on the proposed arena and entertainment district is a priority for the City of Edmonton. In July 2010, City Council asked for public consultation on a potential downtown arena and entertainment district.
There were several opportunities and methods for people to provide input. An online questionnaire was hosted through this website.
Additionally, the City of Edmonton held a series of public consultation sessions in November 2010.
Input gathered both online and at the public sessions will assist City Council in its decision-making on a potential downtown sports and entertainment facility.
The City of Edmonton is committed to gathering meaningful input from the public. The City’s Public Involvement Policy ensures this process is respectful and accessible.
The Public Involvement FAQ page has more information about the process.
