Race to the Honda Indy Edmonton

People from Edmonton, throughout Alberta and across Canada are invited to share their story of Edmonton by June 28 for a chance to win one of six incredible prizes featuring the Honda Indy Edmonton!

Stories about what makes Edmonton memorable, submitted to www.edmontonstories.ca/sharing/honda-indy, could win airfare, accommodations, an Indy pace car ride and admission to a selection of fantastic Edmonton events and attractions.

The Race to the Honda Indy Edmonton Contest will award the prizes to local, provincial and national winners who submit their stories in one of five theme areas:

• My most memorable Edmonton Indy moment was…
• My perfect Edmonton summer experience was/would be…
• My most heart-stopping, adrenaline-filled Edmonton moment was/would be…
• If I won an Indy prize package, my Edmonton experience would be…
• I want to come to Edmonton because…

“The contest promotes the excitement of the Honda Indy Edmonton locally and beyond. We’re asking people to share their experiences, or what they imagine an experience of Edmonton might be, to win a Pace Car ride,” says Mary Pat Barry, Branch Manager, Corporate Communications, City of Edmonton.

Winners will be decided by a panel of Edmonton celebrity judges and notified on Friday, July 9, 2010.

Prizes have been donated by contest sponsors: The City of Edmonton, Northlands, Honda Indy Edmonton, Edmonton Economic Development Corporation, WestJet and Fantasyland Hotel.
