Mayor Home Resting after Minor Injury

Mayor Stephen Mandel suffered a minor injury resulting from a slip and fall at an event yesterday evening. The Mayor was treated at the Misericordia Hospital for some broken and bruised ribs and released a short time later. He is resting at home and has cancelled all of his weekend events while he recuperates. He is expected to return to work Monday.
He is grateful to all City, event and hospital staff for their care and concern.
Councillors Krushell and Loken will be hosting the Mayor's Seniors Town Hall at the Lion's Centre this afternoon on his behalf.
