Lest We Forget: Honour Edmonton’s Veterans

Pay tribute to the achievements and sacrifices made by the men and women who served Canada in times of war and peace by joining The Loyal Edmonton Regiment (4PPCLI) at City Hall.

A wreath-laying service will conclude the proceedings outside on the City Hall Plaza at 10:30am.
Remember Veterans at Municipal Cemeteries
Honour Edmonton’s veterans by placing a Canadian flag on the gravesite of those who sacrificed their lives in military service.

The City of Edmonton will provide small Canadian flags at three of its Municipal Cemeteries on Remembrance Day. All are encouraged to place flags on the graves of Edmonton’s military veterans in honour of their service to Canada. Staff members will be on site at Beechmount Cemetery to answer inquiries regarding the location of military graves.
As Edmonton’s Municipal Cemeteries take great pride in Canada’s military history, the Canadian flag at each cemetery will be lowered in remembrance before 11am.
