Downtown LRT Connector: The Community is Sharing Feedback

July 22, 2011

The City of Edmonton is meeting with the community located in the Quarters area (97 to 95 Street). This workshop is the first of a series of three meetings to discuss and look at possibilities for the LRT to travel on 102 or 102A Avenue.

Date: Sunday, July 24, 2011
Time: 9am – 12:30pm
Location: Winspear Centre, Sir Winston Churchill Square

This public consultation will provide a better understanding of community values and knowledge to enrich key decisions including:

  • Track location and station configuration;
  • Strategies to address vehicle, pedestrian and cyclist circulation;
  • Design solutions to accommodate the LRT portal.

This fall, the project team will present a report to the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, outlining solutions resulting from these consultations.
