Cut Your Power for Earth Hour

Join the City of Edmonton on Saturday, March 26 to celebrate the global lights out phenomenon, Earth Hour. 2011 will be the fourth year Edmontonians show support for action on climate change by taking part in Earth Hour.
An evening of great family entertainment will take place on the City Hall Plaza from 7:15-9pm that night. Turn off your power before you leave home, then take Edmonton Transit to City Hall and enjoy:
- Kip the Court Jester
- Nicolia the Fire Juggler
- Booming Tree Drummers
- Bannock making
- Star gazing with the Royal Astronomical Society of Edmonton
- Lights out countdown at 8:30pm
Earth Hour is a symbolic activity to encourage all Canadians to take action on climate change by reducing power usage.
